HPE StoreEver Data Verification Software proactively validates and scans, non-disruptively, the quality of data stored on LTO tape cartridges. Scanning and validating infrequently accessed tapes ensures a successful restore is possible when critical business data is needed. StoreEver Data Verification Software is fully integrated into the HPE StoreEver Command View for Tape Libraries Software providing a single pane of glass management platform.

Ordering details

Each license purchased will provide Data Verification scanning capability for up to 100 cartridges stored in a long term backup or archive.  Tapes can be stored offsite in a vault or in the library.  The Data Verification license will be assigned to a tape cartridge serial number.  As media is migrated and rotated out, the Data Verification license can be reassigned to a new piece of media within the 100 cartridge limit.
