Hedvig's native multi-site HA model enables aggregation of data sets into a geographically distributed, multi-protocol, highly resilient cloud-scale fabric that is designed to run in any hypervisor, container and/or bare metal environment. This modern software-defined deployment on HPE servers, will accommodate powerful private and hybrid cloud implementations across a range of enterprise customers.

Multi-Workoad

The platform provides complete protocol consolidation on one physical platform - block (iSCSI), file (NFS) and object storage (S3 and Swift), and is designed to consolidate several traditional storage tiers by collapsing both primary and secondary environments. Performance tiers and enterprise grade features such as compression, de-duplication, encryption, and replication are assigned via policy on a virtual disk or volume level granularity.

Multi-Site

Hedvig distributed storage platform brings cloud-like simplicity to on-premises deployments by seamlessly stretching storage cluster to multiple sites. Platform provides sinlge pane of glass view for geographically distant storage resources and eliminates all the complexity associated with the storage consumption and management. This provides a platform to build location-agnostic and highly-available applications for the private-cloud infrastructure.

Software-defined storage for Virtualization

Hedvig provides private cloud storage for VMware vSphere, XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V and Linux KVM. Hedvig provides storage availability and performance no matter where in the environment a VM may be running. Service and Support for Hedvig products are provided directly by Hedvig. For any support and generic queries please visit the Hedvig customer support portal at https://www.hedvig.io/support/ Hedvig's customer support organization will be responsible for responding to a call and working with the customer to assign a severity level to the call.

Warranty

With the exception of products provided for beta, demonstration, test or evaluation purposes or that is labeled "Not for Resale", Hedvig warrants that the products licensed hereunder shall be new and shall operate substantially in accordance with its user documentation for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of shipment by Hedvig or its licensors (hereinafter the "Warranty Period"). If, during the Warranty Period, any product is defective, Hedvig's sole liability, and the customer's sole remedy, shall be, at Hedvig's option, (i) repair or replacement of the product which does not comply with this warranty, or (ii) return of the amount paid for the product which does not comply with the warranty.

This warranty is subject to the more complete description of the warranty for the Hedvig products which can be found in the End User License and Limited Warranty Agreement. Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights that a customer may have under any applicable legislation, which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.

Limitations and Restrictions

The terms of the warranty are limited to the remedies as set forth in this warranty. This warranty is provided in lieu of all other rights, conditions and warranties, express or implied, in fact or by operation of law. Hedvig makes no other express or implied warranty with respect to the software, hardware, other products, services, documentation or Hedvig support, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose lack of viruses and non-infringement of third party rights. Hedvig does not warrant that any products will operate uninterrupted or be error-free, or that any defects that may exist in its products can be corrected.

In no event shall Hedvig, or its licensors, be liable for cost of procurement of substitute products or services, lost profits or any other special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to lost information or data), however caused whether or not Hedvig has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation or exclusion of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so that limitation or exclusion may not apply. In the event that Hedvig, or its licensors, are subject to any liability in connection with the products or services, for any reason whatsoever, their liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the products or services, respectively, which gave rise to the liability. This limitation shall apply even if Hedvig has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Return Policy for Resellers

The purchase of Hedvig products is final and non-refundable. Stocking of Hedvig products is not recommended. Please purchase accurate quantities required to fulfill the customer order.
