HPE IMC IPSec/VPN Manager Software QuickSpecs

With its extensive device support, IMC software provides true end-to-end management for the entire network, as well as the open operation cycle.

HPE IMC IPSec/VPN Manager (IVM) Software is a module for the IMC platform that provides features for all aspects of IPSec VPN management. HPE IPSec/VPN Manager delivers a total VPN solution, which allows you to construct an IPSec VPN network, effectively monitor the operation and performance of the VPN network, and quickly locate device faults for full IPSec VPN lifecycle management. IPSec/VPN Manager expedites IPSec VPN deployments and displays a graphical VPN topology, VPN channel status, and other configurable monitors. It is also scalable and can configure and monitor multiple devices at once.

Management

- Reduced VPN setup and management time
provides auto-discovery, automatic performance to monitor thresholds, and a creation wizard to reduce IPSec VPN creation and management; wizards help administrators quickly deploy IPSec VPN networks; the wizard is useful for simplifying the creation of even complicated VPN networks, reducing configuration load and decreasing maintenance costs

- VPN performance monitoring
delivers both historic and real-time status monitoring and alerting; this facilitates the identification of equipment faults or areas where data package loss occurs; the software displays information in easy-to-read charts, such as bar charts, pie charts, and Gantt charts, that display useful information for administrators; uses a virtual spoke to monitor devices, even when they run behind NAT or use DH

- VPN topology chart
automatically discovers and displays VPN deployments using a topology view; administrators can view the VPN deployment, see performance metrics of the device or tunnels, and quickly access configurations from the topology

- Template network domain
allows administrators to create logical domains to distinguish VPNs, which aids in the creation and management of VPNs; includes templates for domain configuration and provides mechanisms to customize domain configurations

- Dynamic VPN (DVPN) domain management

Visual DVPN domain plan
allows you to plan and edit your DVPN configuration with topology for routers in the DVPN domain
DVPN configuration management
allows you to deploy or undeploy a DVPN configuration to routers, or copy the devices' DVPN configuration to IPSec/VPN Manager
DVPN autodiscovery
allows you to discover a DVPN configuration in routers and create a DVPN domain based on the discovery result

allows you to audit routers to determine whether the device configuration and configuration within IPSec/VPN Manager are consistent
