Product overview

HPE Intelligent Management Center (IMC) comprises a modular comprehensive resource management software platform. With its extensive device support, IMC software enables true end-to-end management of the entire network as well as the entire operation cycle.

HPE IMC Virtual Application Networks (VAN) Software-defined Networking (SDN) Manager Software is an IMC module that provides comprehensive management—including fault, configuration, accounting, monitoring, and security for SDN environments. IMC VAN SDN Manager Software integrates with the IMC platform, providing administrators with a single interface to manage both the traditional network as well as the SDN.

IMC VAN SDN Manager Software monitors and manages all three layers of the SDN architecture: infrastructure, control, and application layers. This allows you to visualize your SDN, including the location of the switches that are both physically and logically relative to the control point of the network. The traffic flow across the SDN domain is monitored and represented visually by IMC VAN SDN Manager Software, enabling fast troubleshooting. It also supports lifecycle management and monitoring of the HPE VAN SDN Controller and provides details of network service status and OpenFlow-related information.
