HPE Slingshot SHMEM Software delivers high-performance one-sided communication for distributed memory HPC and AI applications, optimized for the HPE Slingshot Interconnect. Built on the OpenSHMEM open standard, it provides a lightweight, scalable programming model enabling direct memory access and atomic operations across CPUs and GPUs from multiple vendors. Slingshot SHMEM is ideal for irregular, data-driven workloads, empowering organizations to maximize performance, efficiency, and flexibility for exascale and next-generation computing environments.

Hardware Requirements

- HPE Slingshot SHMEM Software is supported on HPE Cray EX and HPE Cray GX clusters with HPE Slingshot.

- Compatible with AMD and NVIDIA GPU nodes, as well as CPU-only nodes from leading vendors.
