HPE Client Virtualization is a client virtualization solution based on the best managed and virtualization ready HPE ProLiant, Synergy and BladeSystem servers and HPE storage. HPE Client Virtualization allows IT teams the flexibility to quickly deploy, scale, and manage virtual desktops. It lowers the complexity and cost of desktop management and protects against potential data loss, while continuing to provide end-users with the functionality of a stand-alone desktop.

License Activation and Software Download Instructions

Retrieve your 'Entitlement Order Number' from the Entitlement Certificate.

• If you have opted for physical delivery, your entitlement certificate will be part of your shipment.
• If you have opted for electronic delivery, you will receive an Electronic Software Delivery Receipt in your email inbox from Hewlett Packard Enterprise with an 'Access Your Products' button. Click on it to automatically get redirected to the My License Portal. 

Visit the My License Portal https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com and login with your Hewlett Packard Enterprise Passport to generate your "Partner Activation Code' PAC. You will receive an email from Hewlett Packard Enterprise with various activation codes - Partner Activation Code (PAC), Documentation for Web Base Training (if applicable).

For your VMware products:

• Visit http://vmware.com/code/hpe to 'Register your Partner Activation Code (PAC)' and generate your Serial Number.
• Visit http://downloads.vmware.com to download your VMware software & follow the prompts to install your VMware product.

Flexibility

Hewlett Packard Enterprise serves as a single point of purchase and support for VMware software in conjunction with the server and storage management software for physical and virtual infrastructure.

Manageability

HPE InfoSight for Servers combines the cloud-based machine learning of InfoSight with the health and performance monitoring of Active Health System (AHS) and iLO to optimize performance and predict and prevent problems. The end result is an intelligent environment that modernizes IT operations and enhances the support experience by predicting and preventing the infrastructure issues that lead to application disruptions, wasted IT staff time and missed business opportunities. 

HPE InfoSight for Servers is free of cost. Basic monitoring and health information is offered for free while more advanced functionality require an active server warranty or support contract. An iLO Advanced license is not necessary but servers with an iLO Standard license will not have access to functionality that is tied to an iLO Advanced feature (E.g. Advanced power management).
