Overview

HPE Moonshot-180G Switch Module

The HPE Moonshot-180G Switch Module is designed to provide high speed, low-latency connectivity while dramatically reducing cost and complexity of deploying solutions at scale. The 180G Switch Module provides 1GbE network connections to up to 180 nodes in the HPE Moonshot 1500 chassis. Up to two switch modules are supported in each chassis. Failover can be enabled by stacking two switches within a single chassis or across multiple chassis.

Defective Media Retention (DMR) and Comprehensive Defective Material Retention

If your business deals with sensitive or legally protected data, you know that it's not a simple matter to return a defective hardware component, but keeping it conflicts with the terms and conditions of many standard warranty agreements. Parts and Materials

Hewlett Packard Enterprise will provide HPE-supported replacement parts and materials necessary to maintain the covered hardware product in operating condition, including parts and materials for available and recommended engineering improvements. 

Parts and components that have reached their maximum supported lifetime and/or the maximum usage limitations as set forth in the manufacturer's operating manual, product quick-specs, or the technical product data sheet will not be provided, repaired, or replaced as part of these services. 

The defective media retention service feature option applies only to Disk or eligible SSD/Flash Drives replaced by Hewlett Packard Enterprise due to malfunction.
