HPE VM Explorer is an affordable, easy-to-use and reliable backup solution for VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. Within minutes you can start centrally managing your backups to disk, tape and cloud through an intuitive and easy to-navigate web interface. 

Advanced backup capabilities include incremental backups and replication, snapshot integration and native cloud support for leading Cloud platforms. What's New

• HPE StoreOnce Catalyst and Catalyst Copy support - Enables fast, efficient backups and replications that optimize storage space and network data transfers
• Backup Navigator (9.60) integration - Backup Navigator and VM Explorer Enterprise Edition now work together, providing advanced reporting and analytics
• Microsoft Exchange Granular Recovery Extension (GRE) - Administrators can now recover individual emails, folders or mailboxes from Microsoft Exchange 2013 and 2016 backups
• Encryption to Cloud - A new, simplified process in VM Explorer allows for direct encrypted backup to the cloud. This eliminates the two-step process needed in previous versions.
• Inbound/Outbound backup overview -The Scheduled Backups Tab for each host now provides a view that will summarize all the incoming and outgoing tasks.
• Enhanced Security - The Administrator password requirements have been increased.
• New virtual environments - Additonal operating systems and ESXi versions have been added.
• Maintenance included - VM Explorer license part numbers now include a maintenance and support contract to provide updates and simplify ordering. Maintanance and support contracts are available in 1, 3, and 5 year lengths.

Licensing

HPE VM Explorer is licensed by physical CPU sockets within hypervisor hosts that contain VMs to be backed-up. Each instance must be licensed with a Starter Pack, and additional CPU sockets can be purchased to meet your environment.
