Notes: Sizing for storage servers should be tailored to the specific workload requirement. Bandwidth, IOPS, data protection strategy and average file size should be taken into account for optimal configuration. As such it is recommended that you engage with your Hewlett Packard Enterprise representative to document your individual solution needs and design an environment with required services to deploy.

NVMe Storage Tier

  • New installations must choose one NVMe Subscription SKU from the list above, according to desired subscription duration (1yr, 3yr, 5yr)
  • Choose the quantity of raw storage required, in TB. Each NVMe Storage SKU include entitlement for 1TB of raw NVMe storage capacity.

 

Optional Object Storage Tier

  • NVMe Subscription SKUs include entitlement for 1 TB of raw NVMe storage capacity.
  • For additional tiering to object storage, choose a 1yr, 3yr, or 5yr to Tiering SKU from the list above.
  • Choose the quantity of incremental usable TBs of object storage.   

 

Minimum Cluster Size

  • The minimum cluster size required for a flash tier is 8 servers. This optimizes data protection and performance through receovery operations.
  • The minimum cluster size required for the data node for AI solutions is 6 servers.

General guidelines

EDU/GOV SKUs are offered to education and government customers. All other customers, select equivalent SKUs from the categories above.

License fee is prepaid in full and lasts for the duration listed in the SKU description.

Warranty of HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Server

This product is covered by a global limited warranty and supported by HPE Services and a worldwide network of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Authorized Channel Partners resellers. Hardware diagnostic support and repair is available for three years from date of purchase. Support for software and initial setup is available for 90 days from date of purchase. Enhancements to warranty services are available through HPE Pointnext operational services or customized service agreements. Hard drives have either a one year or three year warranty; refer to the specific hard drive QuickSpecs for details.  

Notes: Server Warranty includes 3-Year Parts, 3-Year Labor, 3-Year Onsite support with next business day response. Warranty repairs may be accomplished through the use of Customer Self Repair (CSR) parts. These parts fall into two categories:

1) Mandatory CSR parts are designed for easy replacement. A travel and labor charge will result when customers decline to replace a Mandatory CSR part;

 2) Optional CSR parts are also designed for easy replacement but may involve added complexity. Customers may choose to have Hewlett Packard Enterprise replace Optional CSR parts at no charge. Additional information regarding worldwide limited warranty and technical support is available at:

Cloud Storage

WekaIO Matrix supports tiering to cloud and object storage environments based on the Simple Storage System (S3) interface originally created by Amazon.  Cloud and object based storage within WekaIO Matrix environments may be used both for large scale data storage, cloud bursting, remote backup to the cloud, and cloud-based disaster recovery. 

Cloud and object storage systems supported through the S3 interface include:
