  • Container Orchestration. Use out of the box container orchestration capabilities for Docker and Mesos containers including automatic workload recovery, security, networking, service discovery, storage and more.
  • Data Service Management. Easily deploy and elastically run distributed data services such as Spark, Kafka, Cassandra and HDFS on a single platform, simplifying operations and administration.

  • Identity & Access Management. Fine-grained access control & integration with multiple identity providers (LDAP, Active Directory, SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect).
  • Secrets Management. Securely distribute sensitive information to applications at runtime while maintaining access control and encryption at communication and at rest.
  • Cluster-Wide PKI Encryption. Secure communication between DC/OS components through a Public-Key-Infrastructure encrypted control plane for regulatory compliance.

  • Persistent and External Volumes. Support for persistent volumes that are resilient to restart and external volumes that migrate with the application (requires REX-Ray plugin).

  • IP-Per-Container with Virtual Network Overlay. Deploy traditional applications with legacy port and IP requirements using virtual network overlay.
